The Titan Terrier is a small, short coated bull & terrier that is being developed in Germany and partly in Italy from the cross-breeding English Bull Terriers (EBT), American Pit Bull Terriers (APBT) and Patterdale Terriers.

The Titan Terrier History

This is a developing breed of the Terrier group, which is still unrecognized. Developed in Germany and for some part also in Italy from cross-breeding English Bull Terrier (EBT), American Pit Bull Terriers (APBT) and Patterdale Terriers.

A better group for the Titan Terrier to be classified in would be the Bull & Terrier group: Bull Terrier, American Pit Bull Terrier and Patterdale Terrier have both Bulldog and Terrier blood in their genetic make-up. The reasons for this cross was to combine the gameness of the Patterdale Terrier and the American Pitbull Terrier (APBT) with the increased size of the Bull Terrier. The result varies from mongrels to healthy, agile and tenacious Bull Terriers of the original type.

It can be seen as a healthier working type variant of the exagurated EBT show version.

Titan Terrier Appearance

Body: the body is strong-boned and muscular.

Head: the egg-shaped head or rugby ball-shaped head of the English Bull Terrier is present in many of these specimens, but is not a prerequisite. It has a powerful neck and head.

Height at Withers: the average height is around 53 centimeters (21 inches).

Weight: in comparision with their height.

Coat: the coat is short, flat and smooth.

Colors: all colours are common for now, but the preferred colouring is dark brindle.

Titan Terrier Temperament

Character: although the infusion of Patterdale Terrier and APBT have effectively reduced the stubborness of the EBT in the Titan Terrier, the Titan Terrier has still conserved the EBT's protective nature.

Social Build: like it's foundation breeds, and especially the EBT and APBT, Titan Terriers are also known for their unfriendly nature (dominance aggressiveness) towards other dogs, especially dogs of the same gender.

Titan Terrier Socially

Care: requires only the minimum of coat care.

Activity: when there is sufficient excersize or a important task outside of the house, they are predominantly calm animals inside of the house. Is capable to run or walk long distances.

I also have rescued a dog a week before he was to be put down, all.because dog trusts and charities wouldn\'t take it in. I think it\'s a Titan, and he\'s ace.

I think that you should put the Serbian Defense Dog here, bacause that breed is working and not reconized by the FCI
