So what defines a Spartan Dog?

A spartan dog is a pure working type of dog. We are focussing on those who origin from bulldog, terrier, molosser blood and mixes of these types.

Dog breeds such as the Staffordshire Bull Terrier (SBT), American Pit Bull Terrier (APBT), Patterdale Terrier, Argentine Dogo, Bully Kutta, Gull Terr, German Jagd Terrier, Bull Arab, Boerboel, American Bulldog, Perro de Presa Canario, Fila Brazileiro, Titan Terrier and many more breeds can be found in our Dogs section.

• Traditional Shar Pei

  We have added the Traditional Shar Pei to the Dogs section. The Traditional Shar Pei, or bone-mouth Shar-Pei, is the working version of the meathmouth Sharpei (show dog). The breed comes from China. (By Jon on 2010-05-24.)

• Hinks Bull Terrier

  We have added the Bull Arab to the Dogs section. The Original Bull Terrier, "officially" known as the English Bull Terrier or amongst the in-crowd as the Hink's Bull Terrier ((close to) extint and replaced with show variants; new life has been injected by recreations), is a medium sized, short-haired, muscular breed developed in England. Visually the Hink's Bull Terrier resembles a cross-breeding of on one side the show English Bull Terrier and on the other side the orginal Bull & Terrier, American Pitbull Terrier, original Staffordshire Bull Terrier or a Irish Staffordshire Bull Terrier.
